Finally! My blog has a tagline – Financial Literacy for Clueless Executives.
I myself am a self-confessed work in progress Clueless Corporate Executive. I want to help spread financial literacy to empower & convert Corporate Executives from being just mere employees to become financial savvy investors.
Don’t be surprised if you’ll also see blogs on self-improvement, being employed & becoming better employees. Because I feel not everyone is blessed with the gift of entrepreneurial spirit or can take a leap of faith in starting up a business.
So, we need to improve our technical skills, leadership skills and emotional quotient in order to progress in our career and earn more money which we can use to finance more investments.
As employees, we are hard-coded to multi-task. But does this mean we are efficient?
Not necessarily. My blog is a testimony to this because at home I would multi-task blogging with household chores, reading a book, and sometimes working.
Net result: I never get to spend time to organize my blog layout and think about topics which I want to share with my readers. I only had enough time to write and sometimes writing is even deprioritized to do other things.
But last weekend, I committed my time to attend the blogging workshop to improve my blog, think about what topic I really want to write and think about what kind of features I want to do.
The key word is FOCUS. When we focus, we actually accomplish more, feel better and feel less stressed. It actually felt liberating and I felt in control of my life.
So my challenge to you, as well as to myself, “F.O.C.U.S – Follow One Course Until Successful”.
